over the past two weeks, i've caught four movies. (:

on the first day of the new month, we went to the singapore zoo at the entrance of three dollars and fifty cents. me, deardear, karlyn, julian, cynthia.


the weather was pretty fine till halfway through, the rain started pouring cats and dogs. and, because we didn't want to spend too long waiting. karlyn and i had some fun walking under the rain, but with ponchos. how i wished i could jus walk under the rain. hee.

oh well, this trip to the zoo made me realise that singapore's tourism board does make a constant effort to improve and revamp these attractions such that singaporeans and also foreigners will make a repeated trip to all our limited yet ever-changing attractions. (:

was called up for an interview at some photography / picture company as a marketing communications designer. was pretty excited about the job. design has always been my interest.

met karlyn for lunch at bishan before heading over and yet, they called up pretty last minute-ly to inform me that the interview has to be cancelled as the manager had to attend to some urgent meeting. it was not until much later that i felt that they just made an excuse so as not to even spend that little while interviewing me. was disappointed, probably not with myself, more with the company.

went on a shopping trip with karlyn after that. bought some stuffs, and had all the plannings coming to us that very day itself. AND, i bought the bag that i've wanted some time ago. i'm glad i bought it. (:

there was so much hype about the career and education fair held at suntec convention hall. so, me, being jobless and education-less, decided to make a trip down to have a look. was rather disappointed, it was 3/4 more of education than career. asked about my education stuff, but it seems like only one school has it. so i guess i only have one choice, or more like, i have no other choice.

dinner at marina's cartel. then, to thomson for the recommended icekimo. it was nice. not bad, though i've tried several others that were pretty good too. their icecream were pretty strong in taste! i would love it more if they had more sorbet choices! i'm a lover of sorbet. hee. (:


well, another two weeks have passed. i hope i do get a job soon. else, i'll be too broke to even be shopping in singapore, what's more in taiwan. hmmm. prays hard.

i've finally decided to come blog after ages. i sincerely apologise for the lack of updates although i have totally nothing on hand. =x

i guess the first thing that everyone's most interested in is, have i gotten myself a job? the answer is no. having turned down a 2.5k job, nothing came knocking at my door. is it really the economy, or is it just me? well, i'll jus have to take this time to truly enjoy myself and have enough rest, before embarking on a whole new journey in life where long holidays will no longer be possible. (:

HAPPY SEVENTEENth, deardear!another month had passed, and yet our love for each other grows stronger and fonder each day. thanks for all the love, care and concern that you've always showered upon me. i know there'll be this day when we finally lost count of days and months. looking ahead!
met karlyn to pass her her loves. then met deardear and had our first pepper lunch meal for dinner at suntec. went walking around, and we didn't really wanted to spend money as we are saving for our trip. so, it was home sweet home.

surprisingly, the dinner didn't kept us full till breakfast and we ordered pizza for everyone to share. the order didn't take long to come, but they got us the wrong pizzas. i wasn't trying to be a nasty customer by calling to complain. i just felt so much like having hawaiian, instead of seafood and another i-don't-know-what pizza.

claps for their pretty good customer service though. we got our pizzas each at only 6 bucks as they delivered our correct orders at no extra charges within the next 15 to 20 minutes. well done, pizza hut! that somehow, did make my day. (:

meetup with karlyn and yumin for lunch cum dinner at eighteen chefs. it's been sometime since i last saw and met them too. (:

ordered cheese baked pasta with mushrooms and red&white sauce, while karlyn ordered cheese baked pasta with mushrooms, minced beef, prawns and spicy garlic. shared calamari and cheesy fries with yumin too. my dish was pretty good and real filling, so imagine karlyn's. heehee. i think her dish was overflowing with ingredients.
we arrived when it was pretty crowded. ate and talked till we were the last ones left in the restaurant. how amazing. went over to bugis street, bugis junction and then home. (:

it was another cycling day for us after pretty long. the weather today's really hot and sunny. thankfully, there was still wind. but, sadly, i'm still quite badly burnt. cries.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DADDY!
it's daddy's birthday today, hence we went to have dinner at this restaurant opposite 85 market - my ahma's favourite restaurant with aunties and uncles. followed by desserts @ changi airport terminal 3's swensens. a very heartening meal. (:

came back home, and eagerly booked my tickets to taiwan in july! first overseas trip with deardear! huien will be coming along, too! i hope we'll have real fun. (:

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY,
to one and all!

joined my family for buffet lunch at jurong point, sam's leong's restaurant. the food was not bad, though the variety isn't really great. there's nothing much to complain about actually. thanks for the lunch, dayi! (:

walked around a little at the new extension and we left for our own activities shortly after. headed down to suntec, wanted to go get the true fitness thingy but in the end, decided not to. walked around and had a little snack - topless 5 and fries at swensens. julian and his girlfriend came over to join us after their dinner too. hang around and was really bored.

headed over to amk hub, wanting to watch look for a star but the tickets were already all out. so we made do with the hongkong new year blockbuster - all's well end's well. not bad a show. touching story plot. home-d at 2.

it was making of valentine's day gift the past few days and after. something more handmade, something more from the heart. it's a way of truly saying thanks while, in another, to give something more meaningful that doesn't cost a lot.

met deardear to catch underworld - rise of the lycans at amk hub. underworld's probably the only thriller movie that i watch and enjoy watching so much. i've no idea why, but their world between the werewolves, vampires, humans and lycans pretty much amazes me. ilike.

we went on an adventure through the southern ridges with julian and his girlfriend. our journey started at 10.30am from buona vista, where we took a bus to arrive at kent ridge road. it was bright and windy day, not very hot and sunny, but i'm still burnt. BAHH. find more photos in my facebook! (:

the 9km walk took us almost 5 hours to complete.
kent ridge park > canopy walk > cullen-lookalike house > hort park, where i saw my cutest nephew with my cousins > alexandra arch > henderson waves > mount faber > vivocity.

had a second reunion dinner at my house today. 'cos korkor went for holidays and thus, there wasn't a proper one before new year. took photos, played with my cutie nephew - ashton, chatted and had loads of fun. it's always nice to have family gathering. (:

our monthly meetup session with yumin and jiaxin to chinatown. it was chinatown, central, liang court and then back to chinatown again. yumin saw her sunshine by coincidence too! (:

it's SIXTEEN!went aston's for yet another monthly celebration. something simple, yet totally meaningful and touching to both our hearts. it's a day of each month that both of us will always work to make each other the happiest. thanks deardear! iloveyou.


finally, i've kinda completed the happenings of my past one month and six days. till my next post, take care one and all. hopefully, i'll receive some good news soon. (:



it's meetup with joanna after i dunno how long. 3 years or so, i guess. had fun talking about the past. the prom night, the teachers in school, the shopping trips we used to go throughout the whole of sec four, and catching up about our own stuffs. (:

suntec, marina, citylink, raffles city.

sat down at marina's starbucks and chatted for an hour or so. then headed to do a little shopping. time passed really fast to realise that shops were already closing. huien didn't get her bag in the end.


we went to have dinner cum supper at shokudo at 9.30pm. rosti and calamari. took photos and definitely, our favourite pastime of the past - neoprints! (:

we'll meet up soon again! besides, the neoprints are with me. heehee.




caught red cliff 2 with deardear at the grand cathay yesterday. the contradictory of bedtime stories and red cliff 2. one is not even half-filled, while the other is packed to the brim.

although i dun exactly know what the history is, or what is exactly supposed to happen, i think the show was not too bad. much better than the first i guess. at least it has more meaning. personal views. =x


we went to chinatown today to get a feel of chinese new year. but, apparently, the feel isn't that strong yet. although there were queues of people buying baukwa and all. we prepared money to get some new year stuffs, yet we came home empty-handed. except that deardear bought a pack of baukwa for me to eat! haha.



it was shopping day yesterday. i'm done with new year clothes' shopping already! ^^

today's a windy and cloudy day. and, we went cycling again! i'm currently in love with cycling. i wanna cycle far enough to be able to see plane's taking off at the runway. we reached a new destination this time round. the landings of plane at the beginning of the runway we used to go by car. (:


then it was dinner, walking around and home.

i'm still in the search for jobs. times are pretty bad. and, i guess i really graduated at the not-so-perfect time afterall. well, may lady luck shine on me soon.
