i know i know.
my daily update have become a weekly one already. but well, i'll do so once i've got the time. the starts of tutorials mean NO TIME LEFT for any other things. BAHH.

anyway, i saw this on my korkor's msn, which i thought was pretty meaningful.

hello everyone, i'm back.
today's monday already. how fast time passes.

a recap of the past few days,
THURSDAY, 21 AUG.
there was advertising, followed by marketing lectures. both were equally interesting and enriching. i'm glad i took both these modules, didn't regret. (:
i had a long day @ home, trying to read up the interactive storytelling's readings for the reflection due the next day. i don't like to read off the monitor! but, well, to save the earth i decided not to print out the 30 pages long readings. in the end, i decided to catch 'memento' instead of 'run lola run'. why? becos, i've no idea what the latter was actually talking about as the version that i've gotten was in german.
well, i strongly recommend 'memento' to everyone of you though. it's a really interesting way that the director chose to shoot the film, though confusing initially, but once you got the hang of how the story flows, you kinda feel that 'hey, that's something different!'


FRIDAY, 22 AUG.
it was supposed to be a pretty long day for me @ school. but, the lecturer for food science cancelled the lecture 'cos there was no tutorials. and so, school doesn't start till 12. and apparently, i skipped my childhood and youth lecture, hopefully the readings will be more than enough.
and, i was almost 30 minutes late for my storytelling class! but, it was lucky that i went, 'cos the lecturer actually took attendance. (:
and, after that we headed to marina for fireworks. via bus 10. immediately after we boarded the bus, i told him, 'this bus journey will take us very long becos of the time and rain.' and, as expected, the journey took us close to 2 hours. before that, it was dinner @ suntec's kfc as marina was packed with lots and lots of people.
amazingly, we managed to squeeze ourselves onto the bridge to catch the prettaye fireworks by france, themed 'french romance'.
and! i saw limYUMIN and yeoHUIQI from above. (:


SATURDAY, 23 AUG.
once again, plans for today were to go see the fireworks, and today by korea. but, the rain was pouring non-stop. met mummy for lunch with brother @ town, before he came to meet me. walked over to citibank @ paragon to realise that, the outlet there doesn't look exactly like an outlet. oops, sorry.
and, my tummy was aching like crazy. so we decided to head home for sleep, while waiting for the rain to stop so that we could go see fireworks. we saved quite a bit today! home-cooked meal.
left home @ 8 plus, watched the fireworks which i thought wasn't as great as that of the day before.
and, yesyes,

SUNDAY, 24 AUG.
it's sunday and i went shopping @ ikea. (:
bought my chipboard for my capsule collections and a pretty photo frame for a pleasant surprise for him. though not total surprise anymore, but well, at least he has no idea how it will look at the end.
went over to my auntie's house to visit ahma. and my cousin brought my dearest nephew there too! it's been almost a month since i last saw him. so cute so cute. and it jus shows how fast time passes and probably, how fast we are aging. oops.


and finally, it's today!
jus browse through the online spree and i'm gonna three items - a dress, a top with a star necklace and a cute carousel necklace, with the help of nicenice YUMIN. (:
will be heading out for dinner later. and, home for home-cooked soup.
there'll be classes tomorrow morning for 2 hours. i promise i'll be home to read up my readings and prepare for tutorials after class tomorrow. (:



HAPPY ELEVEN,
to my deardear!
time really flies. and, i really thank God for each and every day that i've gotten on this pretty little world, spending every little hour and minute with my dearest. i love you. (:

met yumin for lunch and a little hang around while she waits for her next class 4 hours later. apparently, i'm the one who's late this time. oops, sorry.
had mos, then went around shopping again. bought his little surprise and soon, dearest yumin has to leave for class. and, she's late. haha.

came home and prepared a little for lectures tomorrow.
and, met him for dinner @ aston. had fish this time round, and he had the same double up chicken.

it's time for bed, replenish energy for classes tomorrow. (:



class was 10 to 12, food science.
there is this new lecturer from china (i suppose). and, she is pretty horrible. she cannot pronounce properly, and she keeps repeating herself. i hope i'll survive.

then, i'm off to meet yumin @ bugis for shopping! shopping spree day. (:
becos class ended real early, i had to wait for her for quite a while and my stomach was really growling. my mind is filled with mos mos mos, had been having mos-craving for the past few days, though i just had it for dinner last night. hee.
had lunch, then went straight to bugis street. walked several rounds and i didn't even get anything, though i saw several nice stuff.
WHY? becos i was basically too traumatized by the $99 necklace that i thought was really nice. don't think that bugis street only sells cheap things, not EVERYthing is that cheap.
went over to raffles, then to marina and suntec. snacked, walked and then, went to turn capsules again. and, that's when my deardear almost shocked me to death AGAIN with his little surprise. (:
and finally, we decided to head back to bugis to get all our stuffs in place. my tops, yumin's shoes and also, a substituted necklace for myself from diva.

shopping's fun. and, i want more, not till i've saved enough for the next one.



hoho, i kinda wasted another day @ home, doing nothing.
my first reading for storytelling has been opened since 12 plus this afternoon. and, till now, i've probably only read about a paragraph. yawns. anyway, i'll be watching the movie 'run lola run' for my reflections of week 2, due this friday. (:

well, there's only one lecture tomorrow and there's no readings for it. kind of a relief for me.
promise i'll use wednesday to catch up on my readings after meeting yumin for lunch.
it's a deal.

it's two days to eleven.

oh well, bidding and balloting in my last semester has been pretty smooth-sailing, to a certain extent. managed to get all the modules that i want and also, the tutorial slots that i wanted.
so, it'll be a 4-day week with mondays off. and, school starting from 10 almost everyday, except for friday which is going to be 8 to 6. (:

another week has passed,
and a recap of what i have to do for school next week -
watch a movie (out of 4 listed) for a movie review, tonnes of reading for childhood and youth, and readings for marketing.
oh, well, it isn't that much actually, just that it might take quite a bit of time since most of the readings are pretty lengthy. BAHH.

went for our first movie @ golden village - marina.
we'll always patronise cathay, especially on weekends becos it's cheaper with oub cards. but, this time, movies @ golden village is the same with deardear's safra card.


the show's pretty funny and entertaining, that's basically all i would say. (:



though it has only been a night, so much had happened.
and, so much tears has flown out of me. but, i hope it'll all be over and the same thing will never happen again. LOOK FORWARD and BE HAPPY. (:


well, it's saturday today.
made a trip to vivo, after a pretty long while. actually not very, jus that the other time was not for shopping. oh yes, could anyone enlighten me if i should get a pair of crocs?

capsule turning, it was really fun. i felt like a young kid once again. and, i've gotten my marie. and lots of other cuties. (:

ahma's discharged from the rehab centre and back to auntie's house.
and, we went over to pay a visit. plus, dinner, so that we could actually save a little money on food. but, the journey there was really tedious and extremely tiring.

jus gotten home, washed up and now, it's time for bed.
yawns. goodnight.

no words to describe how i'm feeling now, i've no idea if it'll recover soon, i don't know what exactly do i want anymore. i'll never be what you expect me to be, although i've been trying. but, i guess, different people has different understanding of the other. that's probably the paradox of human relationships.

school has started, and work is starting to pile. it's time i get into the momentum, before it's too late. that's the most important thing in my life now. to complete my studies, with the best effort put in, such that i'll have no regrets at the end of the day.



it's thursday, 14th of august.
and, it seems like it's not exactly my day.

woke up just a tinny winny late today,
but the train was squeezy like i've got nothing to say, compared to the first day i went to school @ 5 minutes earlier.
then i almost lost my ez-link card becos it went flying to i don't know where, but a kind auntie picked it up for me.
the stupid 96 was super packed, and the traffic was super heavy. what's more important is, the driver DOES NOT know how to drive properly.

attended advertising, and well, it wasn't that bad. the lecturer bernard's pretty interesting, though quite ambiguous too.
discussed tutorial slots with fiona and the rest, but it's really quite hard to find a common timeslot. ultimately, we decided for the friday morning one though. (:
went off for marketing lecture. and i was lost, couldn't locate the venue. to realised when i skipped the lecture and reached home that i went to the location for the tutorial instead. BAHH, such luck.

well, that's probably not the end. teared, but it shall not be remembered.
tomorrow will be a better day. besides, it's FRIDAY! (:



it's off day today till tutorial officially starts in week 3.
another planned day to pack my room and cupboard, but failed once again,
to no surprise.

well,
met yumin for lunch while passing time for her next lecture.
pizza @ suntec, and before we knew it, it's time for her to head back to school.
and i came home, hoping to clear up the mess.

met deardear for dinner as it's his night out again. (:
now, home-d and it's time to prepare for bed.
there'll be classes tomorrow @ 10,
advertising then marketing.

REVAMP-ED!
hello everyone.
hello to the brand new world around me.

time really flies.
from the last time i left a note here,
it has already been closed to FOUR months.

a quick journey back,
MAY
it was examinations once again, and it's over.
experienced a really wonderful vacation @ starhub, with a group of really fun to be with colleagues and friends. i had learnt a whole lot of new things in the finance department too! CREDIT CONTROL. (:
then, it was examinations results release date once again. and, this time, efforts are really paid off. you reap what you sow. ^^

JUNE
june's filled with lots of birthdays!
xiuping's birthday @ aloha chalet. met up with those that i haven't seen for ages from scs.
my cute nephew's ONE YEAR OLD already! it's really amazing. it seems like it was just a few days back that we visited my cousin-in-law @ thomson medical. AND, he knows how to blow the candles on his cake. ^^
nonetheless, it's deardear's twenty-second. and, a special THANK YOU to all my beloved friends and korkors for making the little surprise such a success. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVE!

JULY
the first day of the month marks a very YOUTHFUL day and also, my brother's sixteenth. lunch-ed with dimsum, off to suntec to shop, and movies.
life was as per normal. work, play and home.
ahma had her leg operation and was staying over @ a rehab centre for therapy before she heads home in a month's time. SPEEDY RECOVERY TO AHMA!


1st of AUGUST was my last day @ starhub. had a really nice farewell and gifts receiving session. it's really nice to know that you're appreciated. thank you everyone who had given me all the guidance and advices. (:

and in a flash, a week of rest was over with a short break @ pasir ris chalet.
celebrated national day @ marina with deardear. the heart aeroplane display and the fireworks display is prettaye. ^^

once again, the sickening, yet unavoidable CORS module bidding is here. it was only till monday, the 11th that i managed to secure all my 5 modules. currently, there'll be advertising, storytelling, childhood and youth, marketing and food safety. WILL CONTINUE TO WORK HARD!

and, TODAY marks a new beginning to my last semester @ NUS before i officially step into the working society. time to really treasure the times i have studying and playing before everything flashes past too quickly.
